Craziest Buildings in the World!

After seeing these pictures, I started seeing rectangular buildings as lame! LAME, LAME, LAME! We definitely need more of these creative, inspiring and astonishing buildings to be spread around the cities.

I liked the first building (Rotating Tower) the most because it changes our view about living inside a building. Normally, an apartment is static, its view remains the same, and the sun always rises from one side and drops in another; but that’s all right, that’s how all buildings are! That’s what I thought until I came across the 80-floor moving skyscraper in Dubai, designed by David Fisher.

Each floor rotates independently, giving the residents the choice to decide whether to face the sun or not, and to constantly change the outside view. In addition, you can park your car next to your own apartment! (*.*) MY FUTURE APARTMENT! …  I can dream, can’t I?! :P

Not many words needed…this fish aquarium sink is just fun and makes washing your hands or brushing your teeth so much more exciting! It was designed by Italbrass and features a completely removable top  for cleaning, and two circular entries on either side to feed your fish. The unit comes equipped with a light and complete system for water circulation, filtration, and oxygenation. The crystal piano is coming!

Now, I am always interested to see how things look inside of something, how it all works together. With a piano made out of crystal, that is certainly possible and looks awesome, too!

Of course, it is fully handcrafted and you can customize your design. Unfortunately, there is only one manufacturer worldwide who makes these. The world´s only manufacturer is from the Netherlands.

HIGHEST TENNIS COURT WORLDWIDE

Are you a tennis lover???

Then you HAVE TO make your suitcases and fly for Dubai. There you will find the world’s highest and most beautiful tennis court on the top of Burj Al Arab Hotel. The fourth highest Hotel worldwide transformed its ex-helicopter pad into this breathtaking tennis court which is build 1,000 feet over the water.

The view is magical, the design is one of the most innovative and the tennis game from above seems to us like playing in a tennis paradise!!

Make your own vintage lamp! We were impressed by the creativity of our blogger colleague Stacie from “Stars of Streetlights” and absolutely adored her self-made vintage lamp. Once again it is proven that for a wonderful design piece you don’t need to go into an expensive designer shop, but can simply look around at home, use your imgaination and create your own master piece!
